Hogs Bottom: Oxfordshire folk band
Hogs Bottom is a four-piece ceilidh and concert band who formed in July 2001. Since then we have found regular work playing and calling for barn dances as well as performing at festivals such as the Florence Park Folk Festival, Music at the Crossroads, Hook Norton Beer Festival and many others.
The essence of our sound is light, bright harmony with lively rythms and the occasional song. With no bass guitar or drum kit we are a dance band with a difference, allowing the natural rhythms of carefully chosen gems to get toes tapping and feet moving.
All members of the band play a variety of instruments. We have:
